After whiddeling life down from a 2 bedroom home to 4 suitcases over the past 6 months, we finally landed a new home in Maui. Simplicity at it's finest. A bed, table, two chairs, bath and kitchen goods. I can't explain how liberating it is to be down to the basics.
We picked up an old Toyota Corolla about a week ago that has been getting us around the island since we turned in the rental car.
Our views are beautiful, over looking the West Maui mountain range, south and north shore. We are upcountry in Pukalani and it's cool at night and perfect in the day.
So stoked on where we are, we've had gracious hosts for the 2 weeks it took to find a place, big mahalos to the McGurn family (Junya, Jenn, Gyle, Gabby, and Maggie) for sharing your home. Made all the difference.
Looking forward to exploring more of Maui, we've been in transition mode for 2 weeks and can't wait to relax.
